COLORADO MOUNTED THUNDER is a family club dedicated to the fast-growing sport of MOUNTED SHOOTING. Our members are from all over Colorado. Most of our shoots are CMSA sanctioned events, but our members also shoot MSA and SASS. Announcing more ways to win with Mounted Thunder...We are tracking and awarding club points for year-end prizes to highpoint cowboy and cowgirl. All members of Mounted Thunder are earning points (double points at Jackpot Practices) based upon the 3D format so that winners of each D win equal points as do placings in each D. Points for Pets 2013
We are getting ready to kick off the fourth year of our Points for Pets 3D series to benefit the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region. In 2010 we raised over $2500. In 2011 we raised $5540. In 2012 we raised $3130 from our entries alone and our total contribution for 2012 with some additional contributions and the generous matching from Rampart Supply was $7,000!
Our goal for 2013 is to raise $4,000 in entries which will again be matched by Rampart Supply. When we meet that goal Cimarron Firearms will throw in 2 additional 1911's that will be put into a drawing for 1 cowboy and 1 cowgirl to win.
The prizes for 2013 include:
1 PAIR of custom Cimarron Thunderstorm revolvers with the Kenda Lenseigne brand and signature engraved.
1 custom Joe Hartkopf gun rig
1 Cimarron 1911 pistol
1 Cimarron Cobra derringer.
